Coker College is a private, liberal arts institution of higher learning residing in Hartsville, South Carolina. It was established in 1908 as Coker College for Women by Major James Lide Coker. It its early years, the college was the only institution in the region with accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
