Online MBA in Sport Management from Tiffin University
Tiffin University offers an online Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management. The program was created to boost convenience for a diversity of students and provide them with the necessary education to increase marketability and enhance business skills. It features a structured online environment paired with practical experience with athletic departments, organizations, facilities, and sports franchises. The program requires the completion of 32 to 36 credit hours and students can finish the degree in as little as 14 months. Students complete core MBA courses and concentration courses in sports management. The MBA core courses include managerial business foundations, human resources, fundamentals of quantitative business, marketing management, managerial economics, managerial finance, quantitative business analysis and research, global and transnational management, strategic management, legal and ethical issues in management, innovative decision making, and organizational analysis and design. The sport management concentration courses include communication and fundraising in sports, business strategies in sport, and personnel management in sport.
The MBA in Sport Management program also requires the completion of a 200-hour mentorship to augment what students learn in courses. The mentorship is under the supervision of a professional who has significant experience in the field. Tiffin University participates in the Federal Work-Study program that grants financial assistance to students who show financial need.
