The Daniels College of Business has been ranked by four major credentialing organizations among the “Top business schools in the world.” Five different MBA programs are available to custom design the perfect experience for each student.

Full-time MBA Program – This is a broad-based program that provides exposure to business strategies and sustainability issues, profitability, human resources, business environment and initiative. The program requires two years of full-time study.

One-year MBA Program –Enrollment in the program must take place within 11 months of receiving an undergraduate business degree. The one-year MBA is a fast-track, selective study format that builds on the foundation attained in prior study. Specialization tracks may be selected to achieve selected career goals.

International MBA Program –Business communities are now global communities and the International MBA program provides a deep understanding of that new marketplace. The demanding curriculum gives students fundamentals of economic, legal, social and political issues. All students must have a second language to graduate.

Professional MBA Program – This part-time degree program can be completed in 24 months to accommodate the demands of an adult learner. The same curriculum as the traditional MBA series is followed.

University of Northern Colorado

Monfort College of Business

By signing a bill in 1889 Colorado’s governor allowed the State Normal School to begin training teachers for the state’s public school system. At its inception, the school had four instructors, 96 students and only two-year certificate programs were awarded. A transition took place in 1911 changing the name to Colorado State Teachers College and creating four-year undergraduate degree programs. Several more name changes would take place to recognize growth within the organization. In 1970, the current University of Northern Colorado was established. Today’s university offers comprehensive undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs in education and business. The Monfort College of Business is structured to create real-life business experiences for incoming freshmen. All students are required to complete a Professional Experience. This helps enhance professional skills through practical work experiences such as networking events with local companies. Graduates of the business programs are well prepared for a career in the field. The Monfort College of Business has been awarded the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for the President of the United States. No other business college has received this honor.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)
