A respected university with a long history, CWRU was established from two existing schools that were built in the 1800s. The modern university came from the merger of Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve University in 1967. Originally established as Fenn College in the 1920s, Cleveland State University was made official in 1964 when the state decided to bring the college into the state’s higher education system. The school offers students the chance to study in one of 70 majors and academic programs, and the school has over 17,000 students currently enrolled in those programs. The school boasts a high level of research and is in the top 20 percent of schools nationwide for its yearly expenditures on science research. The university arranges its program so that students are accepted every three years in a cohort, which is a group that stays together for the duration of their studies. The degree is also such that students who have a full-time job may apply and complete the program through a flexible program that meets the needs of professionals. Like some other accredited business administration degree programs in Ohio, classes are generally held during the week after 5:00 P.M. The program requires research of all students and provides students with access to cutting-edge information in business. Students will choose from one of six different program specializations which include Finance, Operations Management, Information Systems, Global Business, Management, and Marketing. Students must complete a total of 64 credit hours where 20 of those hours are comprised of doctoral research. John Carroll University
John M. and Mary Jo Boler School of Business
Established at the end of the 19th century, John Carroll University is a private school affiliated with the Jesuits. There are just over 3,000 students enrolled in several undergraduate and graduate programs. The university recently underwent expansion to improve the breadth of its available programs. Additionally, the university was named one of the best in the Midwest region by “U.S. News & World Report,” a tradition that continues 25 consecutive years on that list. Originally, the university was a college for men, but it was expanded into a coeducational school in the late 1960s when it started to admit women to its College of Arts and Sciences.
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.)

Established a little over 100 years ago, Kent State University comprises several campuses around Ohio in towns like Warren, Jackson Township, and Ashtabula.
